The most important things to know about nasal aspirators
Benefits, types, and proper usage of nasal aspirators
Nasal aspirators can be used to remove nasal mucus from your child's nasal cavity safely, gently and effectively. This makes breathing easier and helps to avoid complications. There are several different versions, so everyone can find the one that best suits their child. Nosko nasal aspirators are suitable for use from newborn age, are easy to clean and are made from BPA-free materials.
Vacuum cleaner -attachable nasal aspirators
These are the most popular, convenient to use, easy to clean and effective, making them ideal for cleaning noses from newborn age. Nosko's nasal aspirators are available in a variety of designs to suit all needs.
The Nosko plastic nasal aspirator consists of a plastic suction nozzle, a silicone tube and a collection tank. This device is also available in a soft-headed version, which is recommended for nasal aspiration of newborn babies.
It is also available in a set with a plastic head, which includes a suction head and a cleaning tool.
The Nosko glass head nasal aspirator is identical to the plastic head version, except that the suction head is made of glass.
Mouth suction nasal aspirator
The Nosko mouth suction nasal aspirator can be useful when travelling or when particularly gentle handling is needed, for example for babies who are very afraid of the sound of the vacuum cleaner. It is a hand-held device, where the vacuum is provided by the suction force of the mouth. For this version to be effective, the other nostril should be gently held closed during suction.
Using the nasal aspirator
